Healthcare is entering a new era—one where advanced robots work alongside doctors and nurses to transform patient care. This October, Chang Robotics, in partnership with Jacksonville University (JU), proudly unveils the Robot Studio, a groundbreaking facility where state-of-the-art robots will be programmed, tested, and prepared for hospital deployment.
Located on the third floor of JU’s Health Sciences Complex, the 4,000-square-foot Robot Studio offers a unique opportunity for students, businesses, and the public to experience cutting-edge robotics in action. Visitors will witness these collaborative robots (or “cobots”) handling various hospital logistics, from transporting supplies to delivering meals, freeing up healthcare professionals to focus on direct patient care.
“This effort aims to showcase the importance of these technological advancements and their positive impact on healthcare,” said Kate McAfoose, President of Chang Robotics. “We’re excited to shape the future of healthcare while providing students hands-on experience in this rapidly growing field.”
